My Story
Hi! My name is Jean Little and I am so excited to be a part of this FANTASTIC company SCENTSY! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your consultant! It's going to be an amazing year filled with new warmers, scents, and AMAZING PRODUCTS. I can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I'm going to tell you a few things about myself.
I was born and raised in Ohio and I am the little sister to my brother, Norm who is a successful computer tech for the people that make our books at school. My father is a retired police officer and my mother a retired teacher. I love my family very much and spend a lot of time with them, (when time provides). I grew up dreaming, practicing, and playing SOCCER! I have been very blessed to play in many different countries, in college, and practice with semi-pro teams throughout my career.
I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Kentucky University. Go Norse! I then found my first job in Special Education working with grades K-2 and went back to get both my special ed. license and my masters through Indiana Wesleyan University. I also received my reading endorsement through Bowling Green University. I spent 4 years teaching Special Education in the Elementary with Felicity-Franklin Schools and after many cuts was moved to the high school for 4 years teaching special education with 9th and 10th graders. I have always had the dream of one day having my own First grade classroom and 8 years ago my dreams became reality in Greenfield- THE WORLDS GREATEST SCHOOL!!
I am married to a wonderful man (Sgt. Little) and have two beautiful children: a daughter and son. They are ALL a ball of energy and I love them with all of my heart! We also have an Applehead Chihuahua named Tiny, a chi weenie named Daisy, and a German Shepard/Lab named Rocky. We have 2 inside cats named Shoto & Stormy (brothers), an inside/outside cat names Milo, and an outside only cat named Goldie. Amongst our zoo, we have 4 frogs, a blue-tailed skink, and a turtle. They are all a blast to look at/play with and a true part of our family.
